Proverbs around the corner

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive tons of shit."

Sex or No Sex

Sex is good. It is nice, mind blowing and exciting. But, still cannot understand people who are willing to commit adultery, despite their loving second halves. What I mean is that even when they are happily married, they do look for that additional adrenalin, which actually irreversibly taints their marriage, not depending on if they got caught or not. Lies or secrets will surface sooner or later.
I just ask them Why would you ruin your beautiful life and family just for 20 minute excitement? They probably don't understand what I mean. Typical answer would be I just have to be careful enough to never get caught with a smile.
The real question is Are you cheating on your spouse or just yourself?
I'm not talking about sex itself. It's the actual commitment to have sex outside of marital relationship is troubles me a lot.
Sex or no sex? What happens when you cannot get satisfaction from your partner in life? When you don't love the husband/wife anymore?
So many questions, and I just don't know how to answer them, but deep in my heart I will know that I'm cheating myself, rather than my husband when and IF I commit adultery.
Please forgive me God!

Fresh Start

Long time ago, I have composed this poem, or per se "lyrics." But, nobody could and would make it into a song :) Anybody interested, any brave souls? Could modify it, if you want.

I was standing there, in the middle of nowhere
Feeding thoughts to my brain and heart
Needing the time for the fresh start
To embark the life one more time,
This time not here, this time elsewhere

Chorus:
I scream to the crowd, I say make it loud
Hey you, follow me for the new start
Hey you, go on and free your heart
Hey you, let’s leave and do the part

I am revenging the fate for its turns
I am healing from the deep burns
I am the one who quickly learns
That the life is not what returns

Chorus:
I scream to the crowd, I say make it loud
Hey you, follow me for the new start
Hey you, go on and free your heart
Hey you, let’s leave and do the part

All I have is my dreams and wishes
All I can give is my love and care
Otherwise, I am a penniless beggar
Otherwise, I am a just a poor girl (or boy)

Hey you, follow me for the new start
Hey you, go on and free your heart
Hey you, let’s leave and do the part

Follow me for the new start
Follow me, follow me…

A-list fashion

AMA 2009 Red Carpet

Shakira
- the color goes so well with the background, but I gotta admit, this dress looks nice on her. Shoes - not so well, looks so uncomfortable.

Rihanna
- looks like a bouquet of black roses made from carefully cut black paper. But, I like her hair though :)

Black Eyed Peas - Love Fergie! So nice! But, don't get that one-eyed man next to her ha ha.

Nicole Kidman - Yahoo has given her B+ rating. I disagree. This dress looks so dull on her, against her pale skin.

Oh god! Kelly Clarkson could've done so much better! She looks like me at christmas party with poorly chosen outfit. Has she gained weight? What has happened to you?!

Toni Braxton - 43 years old! Looks younger than me! OMG! Love her gorgeous dress, but somehow I'm having a deja vu, that I've seen this dress somewhere, long time ago?!

Bad, bad kitty! Leona Lewis in leather?! Who is her image maker or designer! Complete disaster to me!

End let me end this list with:

Carrie Underwood
- perky, fetish, petite lady in silky, champagne colored mini dress. Looks nice and love that accessories!

I wanna be below poverty line in Mongolia

I wanna be below the poverty line in Mongolia. This is how many people feel nowadays. The reason is unorganized, unfocused, unfair social care system.

The recent decision of government to disburse 1 bln MNT (about 700,000USD) to the population below poverty line (around 100,000 ppl) on occasion of swine flu outbreak in Mongolia further driven the above reasoning. This money will buy 500gr of curds and 300gr sea-buckhorn per person. These ingridients are one of local remedies and known to boost the immune system. Will these small amounts help people below poverty line to fight the swine flu? I don't think so. It will be just waste of funds for things that will have minimal effect.

The difference of Mongolian poors and countries is that most healthy, young people just don't want to work. Most of it is their fault, no drive to contribute to development of their own mothercountry. On the other hands, it is the fault of State. They are providing such social care system, that drives people to stay below poverty line, because it will provide free shelter, free food, free everything. Most poor people like being and staying poor. It is better to stay home and receive free things than work hard and buy things with the salary.

Also, in recent times, Mongolian government is taking decisions that are solely focused on subsidizing the poor. However, what about us, the middle class, who are paying the taxes, who are striving to better our lives through our hard labor? Will there be any support for us? NO. All the money goes to the poor, who do not contribute to the society.
Plus, it was found that the State used up most of our Pension fund and health care money for something else. Then, when we grow old, who will pay our pension, if there is no money in our pension accounts? This is a classical example of State failing to adhere to best practices of governance. There is no check-and-balance system here. Authorities can take our money and spend it on goat subsidies, to feed the poor, to pay for health care of Parliamentarians, to fund the housing loans for their employees etc. Too sour, too ironic.

Is there any way to solve this? I guess not many. Change the corrupt and unethical officials. Change the system. Privitize the pension funds. Above all, fight for our rights, our money!
Or we could just be below poverty line and live our lives on "other's sweat."

Nomadic Mongols and LV in harmony

As you know, fresh new Louis Vuitton boutique have opened up its doors in Ulaanbaatar. My friend sent me link for a blog that tracks LV developments, and there were pictures, that kind of shocked me! You decide, to be shocked, to laugh, or to nod your head for approval.

Ha ha ha. Maybe I don't have a slightest fashion sense, but these look too dorky to me.

Metrosexual, where are thou?

Where are the all nice men? Where are thou? Where have all the romance have gone these days?

Well, my list of questions wouldn't finish by today. So, let's just be easy and lite and check out, "Are there fashionable metrosexuals in UB?"

First of all, the ideology of metrosexuals are just starting to blossom here in UB. Few metrosexuals are being sighted here and there, but still they are high rarity here in Mongolia. I'm assuming that the reader is familiar with the definition of metrosexual, if not, please look it up from Wiki. So, is it a good thing if there will be more metrosexuals in UB? Yes and no. Yes, because it will highlight the fashion development of Mongolians. On the other hand, no, cause there will be less normal and available single men available for normal ladies, such as me. OK. Enough with blabber and let's see some nice fashion for men. Wish to see such fashionable men on the streets of UB soon, fingers crossed! :)

Mr. Right or Mr. Right-now

Well, been busy, as usual. Deep and troubling thoughts fill my already depressed head.

Meeting someone these days have become "pain in a.." I don't go out socializing, there is no one available in our office. Road that takes me from home to my work and back is already known path. Number of friends is decreasing as years go by.

Where can I find a man in Mongolia, where preferable place for young people to socialize is bars and discos? I've become this old maiden, who thinks either I'm too good for someone, or someone is too good for me. All the good men are taken. What is leftover, does not suit me at all. Too much pride? Maybe. Hey, but I'm a decent woman, with relatively high education, sophisticated enough, and reasonably well-looking /except my weight :) /. Shouldn't I expect my prince-on-a-white-horse to be better than me? I think it is obvious.

Anyways, I go online to chat sometimes. And Mongolian chats are truly disturbing. Most of 'em are teenagers, but what they chat about is troubling. Sex, sex, and once again sex. "Hi, how old are you? Are you cute? I'm alone now, are you alone? Where are you? Do you wanna have sex? I can pay you!" is just normal chat lines in Mongolia. How come, there are no decent people left and they are not chatting? It is the ultimate and unfortunate choice that I have been left with to meet some new people. It is struggle, I assure you, to find "normal" people online these days.

I'm looking for my Mr. Right, but what I'm finding is Mr. Right-now.

Ironic? Definitely!

What it takes to be a celebrity in Mongolia?

Well, it is a tricky topic, I admit. However, through many years of observation, I have concluded the following. Some Hollywood rules apply here too :)

As a first target, I will discuss how to become a singer/celebrity. In order to become a star singer, you need to have following .
1. You have to have nice physical appearance (big boobed babes for women and hunk style for men).
2. At least should pretend to sing :) (even though you don't have a real talent, you could always use digital recording studio to upgrade your voice and always mouth the songs on stage)
3. Have some connections with already established "stars"
4. Release at least 1 or 2 songs (could be pirated).
5. And just pretend to be a "star"

Secondly, what it takes to be an actor(ess) in Mongolia? Again, above rules apply, it is plus if you can "sing," then you can pursue double career actor/singer. Many singers here have become actors later in their careers, such as Mr. Bold, popular pop singer, later an actor, starring in "I Love You -2, " a sequel to famous 80's movie, screening right now in Tengis Cinema. I admit, older generation of Mongolian actors were much more talented. Nowadays, young actors mostly do not regard on their talents and rather on their looks. Pity!

As Mongolia has small population of 2.7 million, and 1.2 million living in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, it is pretty easy to become a star, if you want to, compared to market with 20-30 million people. If you are foreigner, wanting to be a star, then I would recommend Mongolia as the pretty easy target. We "worship" foreigners, especially, if you're Caucasian.

Well, good luck future star/celebrities!

Friendship is... (proverbs, famous sayings)

Custom Glitter Text

Relationships-- of all kinds-- are like sand held in your hand. Held loosely, with an open hand, the sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold onto some of it, but most will be spilled. A relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect and freedom for the other person, it is likely to remain intact. But hold too tightly, too possessively, and the relationship slips away and is lost.
***(Kaleel Jamison)***

Friendship is not about who came first or who cares the most. It is all about who came in your life and never left.

Friendship: a building contract you sign with laughter and break with tears.

To give counsel as well as to take it is a feature of true friendship.
*** (Marcus Tullius Cicero) ***

If a man does not make new acquaintance as he advances through life, he will soon find himself left alone. A man, Sir, should keep his friendship in constant repair.
***(Samuel Johnson 1709-1784) ***

Twitter-Mania

Been lately hanging around the Twitter. Is it that useful? I dunno. Just been following the crowd. Everybody is twittering about the Twitter. Would I recommend it? Probably, to those estranged souls out there to keep in touch with strangers.
As a blog user, I prefer blogs, where I would freely express myself with two page essay he he, or could upload the photo to make my point. But Twitter is like a free sms you send out to the outer space. Fast way to blog, I guess.
Anybody could ready your entries in blog or twitter. Is it scary? Yes. Is it fun? Maybe. But then you have the anonymity protection shield. Sometimes, it is more interesting to read blogs that reading a book.
So, what may the future bring to us? Elimination of author books and flourishing of multi-author blogs? From paper to web? Probability of those changes are very likely. For those young, high spirited, free-writers, the time is coming, hang on! Commercial writing will be somehow diminished, and free blogging will take place. That is the tendency in the writers world. Cheers!

This time, I don't regret it

Previously, about a month ago, I have written an article on regretting some of my actions. This time, I didn't regret it :) It was fun, good, exciting, and fulfilling. Yeah!
Yes, there is bit of mental guilt, but whatta f... who gives a damn, when others don't. So, head's up high, walking in my shoes... So you see, I am trying to change into a human being who cares less, be it good or bad. At the moment, HAPPY! Don't know about tomorrow, but it is given that sun will shine, clouds will glide, moon will appear, stars will be scattered in the sky. So, no need and no time to be sad. eh?!

Hunks, I worship

Leonardo DiCaprio (born November 11, 1974) - American
The talented actor, the one I have worshiped for years :) Has this quality that combines good and bad boy appeal.

Walter Bruce Willis
(born March 19, 1955) - German/American
If I marry an older man, I want to marry him. Even though he is "old" he still retained his sexy appeal, don't know why, but he is sexy grandpa :)

Richard Gere
(born August 31, 1949) - American
The classical example of good boy appearance.

Johnny Depp (born June 9, 1963) - American
Aah, the bad boy! Love it!

Josh Hartnett (born July 21, 1978) - American
Has this boyish face, innocent, but has bit of a dark side to it.
My typical favorite.

Tom Hanks (born July 9, 1956) - American
He is the ideal husband type. Funny, sweet, calm, dependable, etc. Well, at least this is how I picture him, as I'm not personally acquainted with him :) But, want my husband to be someone like him.

Reputation above all

Today, Mobicom, the first and largest mobile operator experienced a technical difficulty, leaving its customers without any network for about 4 hours. I guess, this would not be accceptable in Western, developed market, however, I think it is common thing in Mongolia, where we have power shortages now and then. Yes, in 21st century, we still do have power, water, and heating shortages in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar!
When the leader operator has such big glitches, obviously it kills its reputation, above on its already shaking position. Customers always complain that its price is high and service is poor. Probably, this even will drive down the will and desire of customers to be and stay with Mobicom.

What can I say, ashamed. In many ways, our country have become highly technologically advanced, but the incfrastructure to uphold and support that system is just not there. By who, how, and when the infrastructure will be developed enough to support the development of Mongolia is still unknown.

Falling in love

Damn, again in love! When will it end, me falling in love? I guess most of these "fallings" are crushes, not real love. But people do say "falling in love" so I say the same.
This time, tall, slim guy. Again, very unique, confident leader. His smiles drive me crazy and I've been magnetized by him. I feel alive and colorful, but am I getting too old for these love-plays? I get frustrated easily.
Well wish me luck! :) Fingers crossed...

What I would and would not do

Strange thought crossed my mind the other day. I have attempted to identify things I would do and wouldn't do if someone offered me a million bucks. So here is the list of 10 random things that I have mentally compiled.

WOULD DO

1. Kiss an ugly man, just because I feel pity for him
2. Give 10-20$ to homeless (but wouldn't give it right to their hands, I have to put it somewhere near them, on the ground, or "begging basket" or something, as it is considered bad luck if you put something in their hands, as it takes away your luck :?)
3. Have more babies :)
4. Change my job/occupation
5. Consider writing a book or publishing a magazine
6. Try to be a singer (not only shouting in the karaoke)
7. Ride on the roller coaster and be scared :) (which is actually fun!)
8. Be an actress (its my childhood dream to be an actress, or even comedian)
9. Do lectures (on any topic, subject - eve though I have fear of speaking in front of many people)
10. Sleep for 24 hours (aahhh... nice :) )

WOULDN'T DO

1. Marry a man just because he is better off financially or career wise.
2. Hurt someone intentionally.
3. Be part of the governmental organization (as they are the real bureaucrats and top inefficiencies of these days in Mongolia)
4. Touch an alive fish (it is too gross ... eyyyaaaaakkkkk)
5. Come near insects (too afraid of them, in fact have a phobia)
6. Be nice to person who is unfair to others and keep my mouth shut.
7. Jump with parachute or skydive etc. (afraid of heights)
8. Be surrogate mother (would not give up a child that I have bore for 9-10 months.)
9. Try to be someone I'm not.
10. Intentionally lie to loved ones.

The old end is new beginning

When one door closes, there is always another door opens for anyone on this world. Such that, the opportunities never seem to end. One's failure is another's opportunity. This is how life goes.
One shouldn't give up just because something failed. Other things will succeed in your life. Thus, DON'T YOU EVER GIVE UP! This is the same motto I repeat to myself everyday. This is what keeps me alive through hardships of daily routine and boring work, through stress and depression, through anything.

Oops! I did it again ...

I think I did it again
I made myself believe we’re more than just friends

Oh baby
It might seem like a crush
But it doesn’t mean that you’re serious
‘Cause to lose all my senses

That is just so typically me
Oh baby, baby

Oops! … I did it again
I played with my heart, got lost in the game
Oh baby, baby
Oops! … I think I ‘m in love
That I’m sent from above
I’m that innocent

You see my problem is this
I’m dreaming away
Wishing that heroes, they truly exist
I cry, watching the days

Can’t you see I’m a fool in so many ways
But to lose all my sense
That is just so typically me
Baby, oh

Oops! I did it again to my heart
Got lost in this game, oh baby
Oops! I think that I’m sent from above
I’m that innocent

(lyrics was modified to reflect some personal elements)

This cute chubby boy toddler, called Gantulga BILGUUN, has been among us for only two and half years, yet his delicate young life is greatly and unavoidably is threatened by a very rare and unforgiving blood disease. Can somebody help me?

I'm trying to update my blog template and turn it into 3 column template. However, I'm experiencing problems related to HTML code, of which obviously I have no clue. Can somebody help me to tweak the codes so that the two side-columns and main body will distribute evenly and look nice? Otherwise, it gets scrambled into one place. Oh... wish I could understand these numbers, letters, and symbols :)

Discrimination

Well, I don't like racism and discrimination, but I do them both. I don't like people who are arrogant or just simply stupid. I discriminate people who come from countryside to UB. Taxi drivers nowadays are mostly people from rural areas, who came here looking for better life. They do not know the city, thus it is a great pain taking taxi with such drivers, you have to show every move, turn, and street to them. Then again, their cars are so dirty, as they used to in their villages. Not even close to standard of norms.

I discriminate and call people "rednecks" whenever I see funny and nonconformist behavior. I believe, if you're from rural areas and settling in the city, you should learn to behave like urban citizen. Am I that bad?

But then peole discriminate me because of my looks. Are they bad too? How can we overcome such problems, when we, ourselves, discrimnate others because of their looks, gender, interests, or something that we don't like and see as abnormal? Or should be strive to overcome it or just accept it as well as one of the undividable traits?
Dilemma...
