Proverbs around the corner

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive tons of shit."

It is Tuesday, alright ...

Well, another Tuesday dawns upon us. Second day of a new week. I don't know if it is new day, new week anymore. Is it really NEW or just continuum of old?
What is new? When you wish for fresh new start, don't you wish for "blank page"? I do. But, as reality hits, there is never a "blank page." It is always somehow branded, written on, or drawn on. For example, let us examine new baby. It is already written within his/her genes that she will have certain attitudes, behavior, and looks inherited from his/her parents. So, it is not brand new. Or what about new inventions or technologies? It is never brand new. It always inherits some of its components from the old. So, the saying "New is forgotten old" is true. If I want to start new things, it will be influenced by my prejudice, experience, and biased by external information. So even the start is not a start, it is just a continuation of old. Too philosophical? I know.
