I have been reading news for the whole morning. In few words, there is an epidemic contraction of E71 virus, that mainly attacks children. The number of kids contracted rose to 1,427 in Mongolia. However, there is no major newscast of this incidence. Only some small pieces remind us of this illness. Newspapers, on their main pages include political propaganda on election candidates, job and tender ads, some international news, etc. Isn't the kids are the future of Mongolia? Is death of one man in accident, electricity blackout in UB, election campaing, and interview with Claudia Shiffer is more important than health and wellbeing of our kids? Aren't we being "too Mongolian" with this deadly disease? By too Mongolian, I mean, we get bored of or get careless about things in 3 days. There is even a saying, "Mongolian law lasts for three days," comicly meaning even the laws are obeyed only for three days. Save the Children!
